I have had a rough couple of days. Not worth going into on here. I am better now.
Tonight I have to pick a fall play for school. I have been putting it off. It seems that now Thistle is over with, so is summer. :-( I don't like all the "back-to-school" sales. It just seems to rush the summer. I so enjoy my time off. Tomorrow I am going to have to go out to school and get some things done. I am supposed to go to Southern Ohio with JCS one of the days this week, but things are up in the air.
We are planning on going to the Irish Festival on Saturday and then to the last Carpe Diem meeting. I am sad that it is ending, even though I haven't attended in a long time, but I am glad that the founders found the right time to do it for themselves. Things run their course.
I am feeling physically back to normal, almost. I still have some weird knee pain that I didn't have before Thistle. The whole week of extreme physical exertion just made me realize how I need to continue to lose weight. Cardio-Vascularly, I was able to handle the exercise and dancing....what bothered me more were my feet, knees and legs. The aching at night was difficult. But, I noticed, that most people seem to have trouble from mid-week on. Remember the people at this "summer camp" are not that young. Probably the youngest was 28...and there were only a couple of those.....the oldest was I'm sure close to 80 if not over. Most of the people were between 45-65.
Ok, I've put off my work long enough....on to reading plays and finding the perfect one for the kids that I have. The musical has already been picked out.....that seemed easy this year. "Fiddler on the Roof".

Thunder on sycamore street... it deals with criminal redemption - and mob violence.....but I was an odd high schooler.
I used to also hate school but love the preschool supply sales.
G and I are planning a get together in early october as a WIIWD group get together.... it won't be a play party - we haven't finished off the basement yet -

I don't hate school...but I just hate all the "back to school sales" in mid July.
Love to come to your WIIWD get together. I finally decided that I am more vanilla/chocolate swirl. I like the play ...but what I like more is being with someone who enjoys the things I do and who wants to do things that are life related....not just lifestyle related.
